College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia:
This is the regulatory body for Naturopathic Physicians in BC. They are committed to providing safe and ethical standards of professional practice amongst naturopathic physicians of British Columbia. The CNPBC acts, in conjunction with the Health Ministry, in the public interest to ensure the highest quality of naturopathic care.
British Columbia Naturopathic Association:
The BCNA is the professional association for naturopathic physicians in BC. They act on behalf of and for the profession to promote the services provided by and the integrity and honour of the naturopathic profession. This website has information for prospective students and listings for all naturopaths in BC.
Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors:
The CAND is the national association for licensed Naturopathic Doctors across Canada. Their site provides information on the benefits of Naturopathic Medicine, an overview of the education and training standards for Naturopathic Doctors, FAQs, health tips, news and more.
American Association of Naturopathic Physicians:
The AANP is the American counterpart to the CAND. They are active in research, licensing efforts and puplic outreach.
Bastyr University:
Bastyr University, located north of Seattle, Washington, is one of the world's leading academic centers for advancing knowledge in the natural health sciences. A twenty-eight-year pioneer in natural medicine, Bastyr continues to be in the forefront of developing the model for 21st century medicine. Bastyr is accreditated through The Council on Naturopathic Medical Education for their Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program. Accreditation or Candidacy for Accreditation is required for students to sit the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX), offered by the North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE), which is required for licensure.
Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine:
North America’s newest Naturopathic Medicine program located in New Westminster, British Columbia. Boucher has been granted candidacy for accreditation by The Council on Naturopathic Medical Education.
Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine:
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, established in 1978, offers CNME accredited HYPERLINK "http://www.ccnm.edu/program.html" four-year, full-time professional program in naturopathic medicine. Graduates receive a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) diploma. The College is located in North York, outside of Toronto Ontario.
National College of Natural Medicine:
NCNM is the oldest naturopathic college in North America, offering unique clinical experiences caring for underserved populations. Students are drawn to the warm, accepting and supportive culture at NCNM, which is reflected in Portland, Oregon’s surrounding physical and social environment.
Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine:
SCNM offers a four-year professional medical degree in Naturopathic Medicine accredited by the (CNME). This school of study is located in Scottsdale Arizona.
University of Bridgeport School of Naturopathic Medicine:
The University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine is a non-profit, co-educational professional institution which grants the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (N.D.) degree to graduates who successfully complete four academic years of study including clinical training.
